Petguard is probably the most flexible pet insurance policy available – just choose from 4 levels of vet fees cover and then everything else (additional benefits, EU travel, liability cover) is an optional choice. This means that you save money by only paying for the cover that you need.
Petguard Insurance Quick Guide
- Up to £1000 per year for emergancy boarding fees
- Up to £1000 for theft or straying
- Up to £3000 per year for holiday cancellation
- Up to £1000 for death by accident
- Up to £1000 for death by illness
The Petguard policy ensures quick treatment and there's no need to consult them first if your pet is referred for specialist treatment by your vet. Complementary and alternative treatments are also automatically included.
You can also insure more than one pet on the policy and with that comes a yearly discount of £5 per pet covered.
Because there are four different levels of Vets fees to choose from it means that the bills will be covered for either £1k, £3k, £6k or £7.5k depending on the policy that you choose.
The premiums are completely dependent on the other elements of the policy that you choose - only you know what's really important so this flexible mix'n'match system means you get a policy tailored to your needs.
